AIMRI Meeting – “The future of market research in the internet age”

Enjoy the conference & the exhibition

The conference will be in Munich at the Platzl Hotel and will follow the Research & Results Show. This will take place on 26 - 27 October 2011 at the M.O.C. Convention Centre and AIMRI will again host an international village. Visitors to Munich from other countries can combine both events. The hotel is modern, comfortable and well equipped. It will provide an excellent base from which to enjoy the AIMRI conference, visit the exhibition and explore the sights of Munich.

The "Platzl Hotel" is located in Munich's historical old city and is an ideal point of departure for business and pleasure activities. Marienplatz, with subway connections to the main station, the airport and the new Trade Fair Centre in Riem, is only a few steps away from the hotel. The world-famous Hofbräuhaus, the Viktualienmarkt open-air food market, the Bavarian State Opera and the renowned Maximilianstrasse with its vast array of luxury boutiques are likewise only a short walk away

Munich is the Capital of the state of Bavaria and lies near the foot of the German Alps. It is Germany's second most popular destination after Berlin, and has something to offer to everyone, be it culture, hi-tech, parks and greenery, night-life, architecture, beer gardens, shopping or the skiing and sailing close by.

There will be a gala dinner for members and their guests after the formal sessions on Friday 1st July.

What is included

We are keeping the member fee per delegate to a minimum £215 (€240); this includes registration, attendance at all the sessions, lunch (with wine), tea/coffee breaks and the gala dinner. The delegate fee is payable by all attending the sessions, including those giving short presentations. There will be no charge for accompanying persons but they may not attend the formal sessions: there will however be an extra charge for the gala dinner guests.

For non members there is a slightly higher fee. In the case of new members who attend the meeting and join within 2 months we will waive the joining fee and refund the difference between the member and non-member meeting fees.

The Gala Dinner is included in the full delegate fee. This will cover aperitifs at the restaurant and a gourmet meal with wine. There will be a cost of £80 (€90) per person for guests. A booking form is attached.

Munich airport offers flights to a wide range of international destinations and there is a good rail service from the airport.
