Conference in Düsseldorf 08 June 2007
AIMRI Meeting – “Convergent technologies in market research”
What is the meeting about?
The conference will explore convergent technologies in market research. It will investigate the use of Blue Tooth, PDA's & mobile phones and other new technologies for acquiring information, and look at how these can most effectively work alongside current practices to enhance the research process. Convergence will also mean utilising the internet both to obtain and distribute information to the benefit of market research. What will the research playing field look like in ten years? This conference will help you find out. Pat Molloy of Pulse Train has joined the conference committee and has helped us to find a distinguished international team of speakers to tackle this complex subject. It will be another exciting meeting in a stimulating environment.
Düsseldorf is a bustling Rhine metropolis right in the heart of Europe.and contains the most exclusive kilometre in Germany - the trademark of Düsseldorf, and an absolute must for every visitor - the famous Königsallee, which is affectionately referred to as the "Kö". This glamorous boulevard houses all the top designers, and also exclusive jewellers, perfume, porcelain and antiques shops that can provide everything you can think of when it comes to luxury.
There will be a gala dinner for members and their guests after the formal sessions on Friday 8 June.
The modern and comfortable Intercontinental Hotel is situated right on the Königsallee and we have negotiated favourable rates at this 5 star establishment.
What is included
We are keeping the member fee per delegate to a minimum £135 (€200); this includes registration, attendance at all the sessions, lunch (with wine), tea/coffee breaks and the gala dinner. The delegate fee is payable by all attending the sessions, including those giving short presentations. There will be no charge for accompanying persons but they may not attend the formal sessions: there will however be an extra charge for the gala dinner guests.
For non members there is a slightly higher fee. In the case of new members who attend the meeting and join within 2 months we will waive the joining fee and refund the difference between the member and non-member meeting fees.
The Gala Dinner is included in the full delegate fee. This will cover aperitifs at the restaurant and a gourmet meal with wine. There will be a cost of £55 (€80) per person for guests. A booking form is attached.
